Does anyone know if you can wire an amplifier to your stock radio in a 2011 GMC Sierra? Would like to put a subwoofer in but I would hate to replace the deck and loose all my integrated controls.

do you have the premium sound system ? Also, I have no idea if the outputs are full range, some OEM headunits cut the bass levels as you increase the volume (to protect the cheap speakers). I will have to ask around on that one.

Thanks for the respond. It just has the regular audio package, not the Bose package. I've heard of converters that you can plug into the back to give you some RCA ports, but like I said I've only heard.

they are LOC's (line output convertors) and are relatively cheap, some processors even have them built in. Most aftermarket headunits these days have an option for retaing steering controls, it requires an outbaord module.
