2002 Chevy S10 ZR2 4WD light not staying on

Today I removed the fuse for the ABS to diagnose a problem with the breaks. While test driving everything seemed fine. I turned around in a wet grass area and went to put the truck in four wheel drive. I noticed the light for the two wheel drive was lit up and when I went to press 4 hi the 2WD went out and none are lighting up now. When I turn the key all lights light up then all go off. I did not hear the clicking noise when I first tried to shift to 4Hi, just all light went out.

Any help will be great.

pop the switch out unplug harness and then plug it back in.
