ok, my roommates and i have started getting involved with cars. we're new at this. couple of questions we wanted to ask about 97 supra tt. the engine has been run really hard, and we are thinking about a new engine for it. what kind of engines are availible out there? we were thining a BMW 3.2L I6. would that fit? would that cause big problems? if the bmw engine has no probs would it be possible to put turbos on it? need help!

Are You INSANE?
really why would one even bother, I mean I've heard of a rb26dett swap on a Supra but who in Hell would put a ol' Bmw motor in it, you'd lose all potential for big power plus you'd be killin' an icon for ohh so many people. Plus the fact I've seen it done the other way around with a 2jz in a Bmw 328, but never a Bmw motor in a MK IV everything would have to be done on your own because I don't think there are any kits available plus seriously WHY!?!?!?

Rb26dett, more expensive then a 2jz but still respectable no other motor should ever be put into a Supra

Ahhh, Bimmer. Just fix the 2JZ-GTE. Buy new cams, heads, crank, rocker arms, springs and rebuild it with the new parts, oh also get the HKS GT series twinturbo kit.
