Hi,
I have '89 325is, manual, 2door
A yesr ago i had a problem with head lights, odometer (and may be something I never noticed) which would stop working. A friend of mine fixed it and he said that the fuses were loose.
Now the problem is back and this time windows, fan (the a/c fan) hazerds, stopped to work together with the things i mentioned above.
Could someone advise me on what to do. I already checked the fuses and they seem ok.
Another thing is that if I turn the hazerds on, the signals do not work.
Thanks

You might have a bad ground wire on the main bus. The BMW is pretty famous for having screws holding ground wires to the chassis that will work loose over time. The main fuse panel has several wires that go to chassis ground and if one of them works loose or there is corrosion on the terminal, there may be an intermittent failure of electrical systems which do not seem connected except by the fuse panel. If you have a basic wiring diagram you can trace the ground wires to there termination point and see if the connection is solid. Otherwise, the brown/black wire is generally a ground on German cars.
Good luck.
Good luck.
