Toyota Celica ST202

Started on this Tamiya kit 2 days ago. The kit depicts the early model car. I am building it as a late model (facelifted). The late model conversion include front bumper, projector headlights, smooth tail lights. The plan is building the SS-III version, which has front/rear spats, side skirts, raised spoiler like the GT-FOUR has, Beams red top 3S-GE, and red "party" graphics on the seats. I hope this is not going to be another one of my projects which gets dragged over a year, but we will see how it goes.

Bumper work has been started. The lower opening was cut more open toward the sides and vertical pieces glued on. Tamiya smooth putty is then used to fill the corners and voids. Shape of the turn signals have also been changed. Sadly the glue pegs are right behind the signals so I can't simply drill it open.

Members with a late model ST-202 feel free to give inputs on whatever that don't look right on the bumper!

Pictures might be overexposed/not the best but these are just baby steps so far.
