Pretty nice kit that I found in a hobby shop about an hour away from my town. Going to be built box stock with the factory wheels. Tamiya Mica Red is the color for the body, valve covers, oil pan, AC compressor, and throttle linkage cover. I ran out of Mica Red for the rest of the car, so this model will not be complete for a while.

That is a nice kit. I haven't seen one of those in years. Great job so far.
In fact, my "Extreme Firebird" project is based on this body.:smoker2:

Here are a couple pics of my Lindberg 1/20th scale Firehawk that I built to be an exact replica of my `94 Firehawk, which was #203 out of 500. I don`t think I ever saw anyone post one of these here:

Did that year feature ram-air? A cousin of mine got a WS-6 trans-am with ram-air and his intake setup looked the same..

Actually, all 4th gen Firehawks (`93-`03) had ram air. From `93-`95, Firehawks had a unique hood with rounded intake openings. In 96, they switched to the WS-6 style hood, which most people would assume was the same as the previous Firehawk hoods because they look so similar. The WS-6 was offered in `96 by Pontiac as someone else has already mentioned, and featured ram air. The intake box on my `94 was slightly different than a WS-6`s, but was probably equal in functionality. There was approx 250 `hawks made in `93, about 500 in `94/95, I`m not sure about `96 and `97 but they are rare. My current Firehawk, which is a `99, is one of about 700 made. So they are very rare cars compared to WS-6`s.

Thanks! Monogram made a Ram Air version in `99, an anniversary version in `94, and a `93 that was blue on the box. They are decent kits, and the LS1 and LT1 engines are right on, but all of them have the same 16" wheels (the WS-6 should be 17"). Revell also had a snap version that had a red Trans Am on the front which I think was a `93 or `94. Lindberg made several 4th gen `bird kits. Beware of the `93 Formula kit in 1/20 scale that has a black formula on the front. The kit actually contians the wheels for a v-6 firebird, and they are ugly! They also made the Firehawk kit and a Firebird Street Custom that are pretty decent.
