Hey guys I'm new here. I recently purchased a 98 Accord V6 coupe w/37k miles from an elderly neighbor for only $3600. I know that is a screaming deal and the car was garage kept the whole time. Anyway the one thing that I dont like about the car is its performance. Off the line the car feels really slow. I thought that these cars were supposed to be fairly quick. On a role the car feels alright but is there anything that can be done to liven things up in the lower rpm's? I'm not interested in a blower or anything but if the car could possibly get into the 14's or so with bolt on's, I would be pleased.

P.S... my neighbor was offerred $3200 by some car dealer as a trade-in. I told him I'd give him $3600 and I still cant believe he took it. I hope he doesn't find out what it is really worth.:frog:

cruel deal! hehe first off i do a tune up. i bet the owner never did so. then u can go with teh baby mods like intake header exaust. take off ur air filter thats an easy mod as well =).

there are mods that wont get it to be that fast, but NOS is an option.
