I have a 1999 Crown Vic, only has 54,000 miles on it. After driving it for 30 minutes or so if i turn it off for a few minutes and try to restart it wont. Sounds like it can't get gas to start. It sputters and wont start. I let it sit for 30 minutes and it starts no problem. Could it be the fuel filter or fuel pump? Thanks

Hi welcome to the forum!
Are you hearing the fuel pump priming every time you move the key to the RUN position and before you start the engine (only dashboard light on)?.
Even when your symptoms point to a dying fuel pump I would replace the fuel pump relay first (located in the fuse box under the engine), before replacing more expensive things.
