Hello guys,
the second one of the Toyotas is finished. Just in time for the show in Jabbeke/Belgium next weekend.
The base kit is the Tamiya Toyota LandCruiser 80 with Sport Options. I didn't use all the optional parts, just the bull bar. The roof rack is from an aftermarket kit, the surfboard a ScaleProduction item. The body has been lifted 3.2mm by means of using Evergreen leftovers in the right places. The wheels are from the Aoshima Toyota HiLux High Rider. Unfortunately there are only four, so I had to use the original spare wheel.

Hope you like it. Feedback is much appreciated. And yes, I do know that there still is a seam visible on the tires.
Kind regards
Sebastian

Very nice indeed. I really like your subtle weathering. This and the Hilux make a good pair.

That is awesome! Have to agree with potsie the weathering is really nice and subtle. Now if only instead of surf board there was a whitewater kayak I would say SOLD! joking. Seriously great work.

Hi Eric,
have a look at the little Dio in Jabbeke this weekend - it's really simple. Oh, and thanks to the nice comments to all.
Cheers

Its a beauty. The weathering is spot on!! I need to find me some wheels like that. They are getting harder to find, escpecially with knobby tires. The blue paint looks really good also. Where is the billabong decal from and if you have any more can you spare one?

I literally thought the first picture was the inspiration, not the model. Wonderful work!
