What is the best way to re-install a 2000 Voyager 3.3 crankshaft pulley? My Haynes manual says I need a special tool. Is there another way to do this without getting the specialized tool?
Thanks.
Thanks.

I had a 97 that I did this on. If I remember correctly, you could probably is the bolt to pull it in, but I got a free loaner from the local parts store. I would recommend getting the loaner if you can. You don't want to take the chance of stretching the bolt or messing up the treads on the crankshaft.
Good luck.
Good luck.

The damper installation tool is just a much longer bolt than the bolt that retains the damper. I would recommend it unless you have considerable experience doin these so ya dont mess up the crankshaft or seal.

I went to my favorite parts store, but they did not have the alignment tool. The clerk told me he just hits it on with a mallet until he can start the bold and then screws it the rest of the way on with an impact wrench. I thougt that was a really bad idea. I found an old head bold with the same threads and shimed it out. I put grease on the crank like the manual says and carefully tighened it into place. It went right on. I can see if you are not careful it can easily be messed up. Thanks for the input.
