Parking brake cable broke!

Hey all! I have a 99 grand prix gt with 126000 miles. Today the emergency brake cable on the left side broke at the threaded part where you adjust it. Can I just replace the left cable and if so how do you reconnect to the equalizer? The equalizer looks to be ok I just have to figure out how to get the adjusting nut off the rusted and now broken threads that were part of the left cable then get the new cable back into the equalizer. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated!

to add, don't mix up your left & right

left = driver side

right = passenger side

rick's first link was a part going to the right side :icon16:

ebay listings sometimes don't have a description if it's left or right so you google and double check before you order the wrong side cable

get a can of PB Blaster and/or have a small propane torch too!
