I had to play bad neighbor today

So this past weekend Alex and a friend of ours got on the roof of my house to give the AC units a little maintenance. For the last 2 weeks I've had a gazillion tiny little bugs in my backyard and a $75 visit from Terminix didn't solve the problem. So while the boys were on the roof they saw that a neighbor's backyard 2 houses down from me and on the other side of the block had a pool that was green and stagnent (sp?) There were cars on jackstands w/o motors in them, and a kid's swingset has an engine hanging from it on chains there was also an old water heater on its side out there along with some boarded up windows. I asked Alex if the house was abandoned, he said no, it was obvious there were still people there and activity going on.

So today I called city code complaince and told them to check this place out, and complained about the bugs too ewwwww.

I could care less about the cars, but the pool thing is a major health hazard :eek:

My pool has gone stagnant before. Just chucked a shitload of schlorine and anti-fungus stuff and watch it turn back to crystal clear. :D

This was beyond stagnent. Solid dark green :puke: I have a bad feeling there are kids there since an engine was hanging from the swingset :eek:

lol sounds like the typical house in Glen Innes- Only there is nobody there that has a pool to the best of my knowlege- but there is always Holdens and Fords sitting out the back in pieces :D- Like they all should be :finger:

Thats grot about the pool. I hate when kids have to live like that, Im always getting into trouble for telling parents off around my area for shite parenting etc.

I agree. This thread is a let down. I was expecting news of Kats next porno flick. :(

If your going to have a pool and not use it, the least they could have done is drain the damn thing. You'd have thought they would have been annoyed by the bugs too.

It sounds like the house was a sh*t hole. but in their defense I have a pool and when you first open it after winter it is pretty green and takes about a week to get clean. Doesn't sound like this was their case.


As bad neighbors go I think I have it pretty rough with the guy next door to me having no reservations about using his substantial sound system to its fullest at 2 AM on a tuesday.
