Warning buzzer on 94 metro

The warning buzzer on my 94 works when you put the key in, but not when headlights are left on :key off, I have searched this forum, checked for a (used) new buzzer and found later model is not the same, so what now ?
I don't want to reinvent the wheel and add a relay and seperate buzzer unlees I have to so anyone have a buzzer for the 94 ?
the buzzer and controler are all one piece on the 94 , later model controler appeared to not have an on board buzzer.
