If the front end is riding lower than stock, your springs may be tires and need replacing.
If the front springs are good, there is not much lifting you can do without mods. Raising a stock front end more than stock will affect the wheel alignment and steering geometry, making for poor tire wear and strange handling.
If you simply must lift the front end, get a kit which reworks the suspension to preserve the geometry while lifting the car.

Personally, if I were to do this, I would get an airbag system where the ride height was easily adjustable.

I do not understand the appeal of a permanently lifted car.
(4x4 yes, but car???? It's a mystery :) )

placing air shocks on the rear is a good way to improve ride quality . also with heavy load you can adjust to keep the vehicle LEVEL. this improves handling , and control.
If you have too much lift [above level ] in the rear , this causes alignment issues. you tires will wear out on the edges. also the drive shaft angle will be off causing the U joints to fail.
most likely your springs are shot in the front. they all fail after several years of use. get the HD springs and it should go up 1-1.5 inches. then after 1000mi get the front end adjusted . this will need adjusting as any change in height will throw the alignment off. that includes any decrease in height as the springs take as set..
I have used air shocks for 40 yrs. a cheap way to get a better ride. the air bags are nice but very expensive. with a truck however the air bags are worth it.
when you install the new springs install a pair of bilstein HD shocks.
also replace the sway bar bushings all..front and if equipt rear.
