In the morning a small wet patch under the vehicle. I put it on stands and let it idle for an hour and nothing. Backed up and there it was like it pooled somewhere and ran off when I moved the vehicle. Oil looks ok. Did just replace the thermostat about a month ago. Heater is working fine. I can kind of smell antifreeze in the cabin area as well as engine compartment but nothing overwhelming. Windshield is not getting slimy like heater core is leaking. Never noticed this until we changed the thermostat. Oh yeah about 130,000 miles. If it is that intake gasket is it obvious to find. I can't seem to locate a wet spot anywhere.

A cooling system pressure test would be helpful to locate this leak. Inspect around the coolant elbows on the passanger side of engine, also upper intake and throttle body gasket and water pump.

It appears to be that plastic bypass elbow that goes into the tensioner. Do those form leaks very often or is it a common problem?

Yes, very common. I see you found info on another thread, now you know, do NOT use the aftermarket parts!

Yes I saw that about the aftermarket parts. I already called the local dealer and they have 6 in stock. How much coolant will I lose if I don't drain any.

Too much.
