I have a 2002 1500 4WD Suburban with about 120K miles. As I come up to a stop on clear dry pavement the ABS kicks in on occasion just before I come to a complete stop for just a second. This happens at 1-2 mph just before a complete stop. It is becoming more frequent up to 3-4 times a day now. No codes show on the OBDII.
Any Ideas?

the front hub bearings/sensors are failing.
if these are original then they should both be in need of replacement.
make sure you use timken hubs. these come with calibrated sensors.
whats going on is the hub bearing seal corrodes. then the bearing rusts. then the rust gets on the sensor which is a magnet. signal out put drops. then the ABS activates at below 5MPH. low/no signal at the low speed.
don't buy chinese crap . I did a test lasted 10,ooomi. the whole bearing was worn out cheap metal/poor fit.
cost is 180.oo at autozone 3yr warrantee timken made in USA.
I was lucky the chinese crap hub had 2yr warrantee , and I got my cash back.
