Front Hub Removal Question

My 03 Explorer 4X4 front left wheel is roaring only when I round a curve or turn. I assume this is the bearing. In order to get the hub off, will I need a special tool to separate it from the cv shaft.

no special tool is needed just the socket for the hub nut you can rent this from autozone or other parts place the bolt come in from the back of the spindel put can be remove by pushing the shaft in and turning the spindel to one side then take a hammer to pop it loose from the spindel about 1hr half job for novice wrench
