I replaced the tiny little light bulbs that go behind the instrument panel. Anyhow, canadian tire didnt have the right size so I ended up going to the dealership.

It came to $17.09 for 2 tiny bulbs, I almost shit myself right there in the store. I asked the dude if they came with a 50 year warranty and he just looked at me, smiled and said no.

Moral of the story, never bring your girlfriend to a dealership and then spend $17.09 on 2 tiny lightbulbs in front of her. "So <insert object here> is too expensive but you can spend 17.09 on light bulbs for your car??"

:D

fuck buying anything at the dealership ... I learned this a long time ago. They tried to charge me $30 for the sockets when my corner lenses were stolen and I was like fuck that and went to pick and pull the next day and got em for $2

The aftermarket parts like alternators generally use cheaper brushes which wear faster, sometimes one of those alternators will only last 6 months, other times it will be as good as a honda one. As for people screwing you, go to a different honda dealer if you can.

Or, you can make a friend who works at a dealership and can get parts for 10% above what the dealer pays, like I did.

I just had to get those from my local parts store and it cost $2.50 for both lights.
