01 Intrigue speedometer and odometer issues

The speedometer in my 01 intrigue just started to work some of the time. Any ideas? The odometer hasn't worked since I bought the car 3 months ago. It just blank. Any ideas on that either.

there is a connector on the transmission jiggle it or clean it my wifes nissan sentra midgit mobile hade that the connector on nissan is on top is fonzied it (smacked it around) cleaned and other tries got the speedomiter working fine but trip never worked on that car you might get your trip back if repalace the harness and dont ask me where the connector is these intrigues are the tightest engine compartment i have ever seen five parts just to get at what you want what a pain also wiring diagram might help you out
