Finished this one last year and finally made some new pics. Itīs the Revell 1:24 kit.
I tried to keep it simple, making a more or less oob-model. The engine of this kit is rather undetailed so i kept the body closed. Bigger front brakes were added, some PE for the belts, which are made of electrical tape, and a few different types of SMS carbon decals. The seat was covered with white micro balls and airbrushed with black paint.
New exhaust tips were made from wire-end sleeves, painted with alclad. The bulls blue is a custom mix i got from a fellow modeler, yellow is just decanted TS-47. The turquoise was really hard to get. Revellīs mixing advice in their instructions isnīt that bad, but too bright. I tried several ratios, making little paint blobs next to the turquoise decals until i was satisfied.
I replaced the kit parts for the antennas with thinner steel wire, took 2mm screws and nuts to attach the wheels and finally sanded the tyres to let them look less glossy. Underside was simply painted black, no decals there.
Now please enjoy the pictures! I hope you like it.

What a flawless work! Revell's F1 kits were certainly not the easiest to deal with and you did with flying colors! It's really good to have you back! Great work!

This is Revell??? Amazing! I think this must be one of the best 1/24 Revell F1 builds!
Totally fantastic! Love the wheels/tires, you have done a good job making them look real!

I really like the livery, and the details make it stand out. Escpecially the CF, tires, and seat belts.

The model looks great. I couldn't do it better but I have one remark. The white part on the nose. is this a decal or did you paint this? The line between the blue and white doesn't look as crispy as the rest. Did you draw a black line on it?

Sorry for the late answer and thanks again for all your nice replies!!
@ketje
You donīt have to phrase it that carefully, iīm not that sensitive and i know there are several flaws at this model. ;)
Youīre right, the transition between white and blue on the nose isnīt that crispy. Revell delivers a white decal for the nose, but i was afraid, it wouldnīt fully cover every edge and painting would be easier.
I took Tamiya tape for covering the white and needed several attempts for the right shape and position. Maybe it lost some of its adhesive power because of this.

Very nice :). I remember when Kimi drove those. Is that Diffusor legal? If I remember correctly the Diffusor was allowed to reach only to Rear Axles from the Sides at the Time.
