I recently crome foiled the window trim on my Honda Civic and it looks like crap....I already put the clear coat on....how do you guys suggest I fix this.

Drop it in some CSC/DOT3, then when the clear is off use a knife or your nail to scrape off the foil.

What about the paint...won't that mess with the base coat?

Get an x-acto knife and trim around the chrome filme, make sure you cut through the clear, then just try to remove it as best you can. That would be my bet..

Never clear over chrome foil, you're asking for trouble. :)

only way i can thin of is to do what Daggerlee said, or u would just have to strip it ll off:(

I tried to take off the crome foil but it didn't come out to well, guess I will strip the paint and start again. DARN. Thanks for everyones help.
