We changed the old spark plug wires and now the thing won't start. What could possibly cause this? It was running before we changed the wires.:uhoh:

Have you double check to make sure a wire may have been disconnected accidentally. Does it have spark??? What brand of wires and did you remove 1 at a time so there was no mix up in proper location of wires??

Yes, the wires were removed and replaced one at a time to make sure they weren't mixed up. They are duralast wires.

Also when we turn it over it pops through the intake and exhaust but won't fire.

you got a voltmeter to test the resistance of each wire? you're going to test if the wires aren't broken inside ~ continuity test
what else did you changed besides the wires? and was it running before you changed them?
old set still good? if so replace the old ones, one at a time... to rule out if you got bad wires from the box (if you don't have a voltmeter)
then return that set since they carry a lifetime warranty????

Spark plug wires were all that we changed and yes it was running before the wires were changed.

well, either you got a bad set
or
you didn't route them properly

ps: i hated going back there to reach for the ignition coil wire end...

here's a live pic for reference, also make sure those plugs to the ignition coil/module weren't bumped off...
