So every once in a great while the security light comes on after I start the car. Codes are B2958 data open/short to battery security system sensor data circuit high and B2961 key in ignition circuit malfunction. Car drives and starts fine (except for an extended crank sometimes). Last time I had the B2958 code the dealership had me replace the BCM then the lock cylinder and they also did some wiring diagnostics. I'm hoping I won't need to do that again. Does this look like the lock cylinder may need replaced again?
