I have a 2000 rodeo that I just put a new timing belt and water pump and thermostat. It does not over heat but it is blowing coolant out ove the overflow and the pressure on the hoses seems really high. I was looking to see if anyone has had this problem and what I can do?:runaround:

Change your radiator cap ...

You need to get the air out. Remove the radiator cap and squeeze the hoses until the air bubbles stop. Sometimes rocking the car side to side will help dislodge air bubbles.

Its has a new radiator cap and I did the steps on removing the air form the system. After I get the air out its fine for about 3 days. Then it starts burping into the overflow. After that it just gets worse. But I get hot air from the heater all the time with out any cold shots. The thing just builds pressure for some reason. No oil in the fluid or fluid in the oil. No leaks anywhere. And it runs normal temp.?

Well Thanks for the tips all. I found out the problem it was and is a head gasket. Lovely?
It tested positive for hydrocarbons in the coolant.
