I just got one of these hoping to replicate a van I used to own. Unfortunately its the long wheel base version, where my van was short wheel base. Since MPC made several versions of Dodge vans, does anyone know if they made the short wheel base? Or can anyone give me pointers on cutting this one without butchering it?

I'm unsure about any different kits, I'd hope there are more versions. Other wise...You can just measure, measure, and measure alot! lol! Then make sure the measurements are as perfect as NASA spec can be. Then get some straight as can be tape, to mark the edges of where you want to cut it up. Then double up on the tape to make a nice thick border. Get some nice photo etch cutting blades, or something with a great straight edge on it. Line the body back up. Use styrene to brace the inside for supports. Bond the body back together, and fill in any gaps:)
