Hey all. I did a search and couldn't find quite this problem. My parking lights just keep flashing even after the 99 caravan is turned off. It is not the same problem I had a few years ago with the emergency flashers. in 07 I replaced the emergency flasher turn signal module. This is just the parking lights. I pulled the fuses for the flashers and the lights just kept flashing. I pulled the fuses for the parking lights and although the lights went out, the ticking was still happening under the dash.
What do I fix this POS now? We have gotten 150,000 miles out of the old girl but we have regular problems with this beast we don't seem to have with other high mileage cars

If you have a keyless remote that chirps the horn and flashes the lights that may be the culprit.

Body Control Module (BCM) controls the ground to the parking lamp relay. Try resetting it by disconnecting the negative battery cable for 2-3 minutes.

The battery disconnect worked thank you. I wonder for how long it will stay

Good luck, on my '96 it was the headlights that came on whenever they felt it necessary. Car parked, key off and bingo headlights. I did the battery disconnect and that worked for a few days and then back to the Gremlin. I finally put a battery brain on her ( remote controlled battery disconnect device) nad now I turn battery off when I leve the car and battery on when I return. Did not solve the BCM issue but I no longer have the problem and the cost was about $50.00.

Fortunately disconnecting the battery for a reboot worked

I've heard about battery switches. Your's has a remote function that apparently does away with opening the hood all the time. That's a new one. Where did you get it? As it implies does it come with it's own remote control?

I found my battery brain (Battery Brain III on internet (AMAZON I believe) and it came with two remotes. Hooks up between the positive cable and positive post of battery with a ground wire that goes to the negative post. The cable to post hookup has various angles available that allows it to be mounted conveniently in cramped spaces. Works great as I stop car, get out and lock car with my vehicle remote and then using the Brain remote disconnect.
Mine ended coming out of Wisconsin (best price).
