93 blazer 4.3 vortex injector probs

Hi I have a 93 S10 blazer it has a 4.3 vortex engine in it I'm having probs with the injector and spider assembly I was wondering if anyone knows how to get the injector out and take spider assembly of and if anyone knows what numbers in the vin has to match so I can get injector and spider assembly from a blown engine thank you for your time

What kind of a problem are you having?

It won't start unless I spray starting fluid in it. I checked fuel pressor and it was fine and it didn't bleed off I had a extra ECM so I switched it out and it had no change I tested power at injector and it had power bout only thing I can think of doing now is change cpi thank you for any help you can give

Has the vehicle fouled out the back plugs. This is the most common thing that goes wrong with the CPI. Justany of them with interchange though. Also make sure the distrubitor is giveing signaal to fire the injecter. Is theinjector getting power and ground. Just few good things to look at.

What was fuel pressure reading?
12 volt power does not trigger injector
Make sure it has both 12 volt power plus injector pulse.
As said make sure and checvk that you are getting injector pulse.
Also I have found the wiring inside of intake to injector bad.

If I remember right pressor was around 60 or 62 psi I haven't checked the pulse yet I haven't got a noid light to test with an I haven't found 1 around here I checked at autozone to see if they had 1 I could rent but they didn't ill look around again and see if I can find 1 that was 2 yrs ago that's when I first started trying to figure it out the reason I thought about just replacing the injector is iv read a couple post that pll was having the same prob as I am with the same engine but I think u guys are I right I should check everything before replacing injector thx for your guys help ill check pulse as soon as I can get my hands on a noid light

I just plugged noid lite into injector plug it flashed when I cranked it over but when the key was in the one position I dunno if its suppose to in the on position

It should pulse only when cranking.
Does it still have spark to all plugs and proper fuel pressure when cranking?
Where are you checking injector pulse?

Will it fire with a shot of carb cleaner?

Ya it starts with starting fluid an ran good till starting fluid burned up I took the plug off the injector and pluged noid lite in there to test in

If you have injector pulse and proper fuel presure and it fires with carb cleaner but not witout carb cleaner you have a fuel delivery problem.

Check the injector.

Do you the best way to test the injector without replacing it like take it out of motor and crank it over and see if any fuel comes out I don't no if injector needs to be grounded to the engine to work thx for your help

Do you have the upper intake removed?

Make sure the plugin is good at injector and still getting injector pluse there and fuel pressure.

Then pull injector poppet and see if it is squrting fuel.
If not your injector is dead.

I pulled each poppet and checked them 1 at a time and all 6 was squirting gas when I cranked it over the fuel pressure was 60 psi turning the key on and around 63 psi cranking it over but it fired like it wanted to start which it did that now and again before so I'm not sure if it would start or not an even if it did run and start I'd be worried not noing what exactly got it to work any suggestions I'm not sure whet to do next thx for your help and time

If all else fails put it back together and see if it will start .

I got her all back together and its starting and running I don't like knowing why it stopped running but I'm glad its going again. Thx for all your help if it happens again ill no what to test and what to test for now.

Remember if it does it again proper testing.
I have had the injector wiring harness inside plamtum do things like that.

I tried 2 get a new injector connecter I got 1 for a 4.3 cpi whitch is wat I have and it was the wrong 1 so I got 1 4 a 4.3 tbi and I think that will work but I pulled alittle more wire thru the motar so the plug setup alittle better and so far so good if it starts cutting out again ill put the connector on for the tbi injector thx again for all your help
