Audi R8

This is my latest build. It's Revells Audi R8 in Tamiya TS-31 Bright Orange applied with airbrush. The carbon is from Crazy Modeller. Clearcoated with TS-13, again with the airbrush.

Nice color combo and clean build!

The black and red combo looks spot on!!! Also the blue in the leds on the headlights makes the model look less toyish!

In real life it's more orange than the pictures show. The difference between the R8 and the red 360 in the background is clearly visible to the naked eye but the camera doesn't pick it up.

But I'm glad you like the color, I wanted something more bold than the rather bland dark grey with polished alu sideblades that seemed poular when the car came out.

MidMazar, you spotted the leds. They didn't show up as well as I thought they woull'd, but i think it's for the better.
