My 97 Suburban died and will not start. Things I have done:
1 Changed fuel filter
2 Changed fuel pump twice
3 Checked fuel pressure 60psi
4 Changed plugs and wires
5 Changed rotor and cap
6 jumped switch to make sure pump runs
The Suburban will start only if I pour gas in the throttle body and will idle as long as I continue to pour gas in but will die when I quit.

Thanks for your response. Next warm day I will try and start it and then pull a plug to see if it is wet. I don't think it will be since I can start it by pouring gas in the throttle body. Not sure if there is a fuse for the injectors or not and not sure what wiring I would need to check.
Thanks again

The fuse for the injectors is the ECM 1 in the underhood fuse block. This fuse also powers the ign module so it's probably ok.
The VCM controls the ground signal for the injectors.
Fuel pressure needs to be 60-66 psi.

Tried to start the suburban and then checked a plug, there was gas on the plug but it still will not start.

rtoney, interesting, seems like with the spark plug wet it's getting fuel. Did you check for spark?

He said in his original post that it would run as long as he poured gas in the T/B?? So it seems the spark is good. I'm at a loss at this point.
