Happy New Year!

This is my new project :

Maybe I will use color scheme like this (Midnight Blue, Silver bonnet and wood deck)

Actually Drophead Coupe models are available in 1/18 as finished resin model and 1/43 die-cast by Minichamps. However, 1/18 one is too expensive and 1/43 is too small for me. So I decided to scratch build in 1/24 since it is not hard to form shape and the subject is interesting enough to scratchbuild. I will make all parts open as possible.

I planned to use this wheels : Wald Portofind 13F 22"

BMW V12 Engine from Nazca M12 Revell. Actually RR Phantom uses newer N73 Engine but has almost similar intake manifold shape like this.

Yes, this looks very brave.
It looks great so far!!!!

Are you just eyeballing it?
How are you going to tackle the convex nature of the doors, sides, hood, etc?

Keep it up!!!!!!

More progress :

Finished rear bumper, need to work for front lower half bumper.

Spirit of Ecstasy is not glued yet. Just for preview. Carved from leftover plastic sprue but if it is not OK i will not install since real car it can be stowed and popped so I don't worry about that much.

Front round lamps housing made from junk parts, maybe I need to sand down a little and drill hole for lamps for more realistic.
