I cant figure out how to put a file into my sig. I mean I know how, but I dont know how to get it to show up. its a GIF file is there a specific way you are supposed to put those in, because it has motion to it. Any help would be great and if the mods so feel, after my question is answered they can close the thread.

Use the img tags like you would if you were putting a jpg in there.

If you're getting a red X, there is a problem with the image itself, not with the way you're linking it.
Either that or you're not doing it right.....
Are you sure geocities allows hot-linking like that?

what's the url of your target?it may be that the site has a block on hot linking to prevent loss of bandwidth.
