Anybody know anywhere you can get just the TPS for a a6 throttle body? i need one cause my new engine the TPS is broken...

i dont think you can buy them separate from the dizzy, you need to buy a whole piece.

crxlvr, i think you meant throttle body :) not dizzy. You might be out of luck unless you go to junk yard with a dremel tool and take off the TPS yourself, any TPS off a MPFI manifold will work, a DX one WILL NOT fit your a6 TB(I'm sure you knew that). Option#2 buy a complete a6 throttle body with TPS...pricey though

Hey greg, talk to Kris, he sent me one, and I think he said he had some more laying around... I dunno.
Anyways, I think you can use the one from the throttle-body that you have in the car now... They're held on by shear-bolts, so to remove the bolts, I used a dremel tool with a cutting disk to cut slots in the bolts and then use a flathead screwdriver to remove them. Once it's off, it's easy to tell how to re-install the new one.

i heard the dx will not work. I have an a6 throttle body on my z6 so i need a mpfi one.

if u really wanted it and didnt know where to go you could of just ask Greg.. i would of part that damn POS A6 that i showed you . lolz eithere way.. u comming back for the tranny... trade me when you come back ..

I found I had idle issues with my TPS - they are a bugger to set outside of the factory. My suggestion would be to get the throttle body complete with TPS untouched. It may save you grief in the future.
