Good Morning all and an early Merry Christmas! I am in search of kits and/or ref photos to detail the Ford DFV in 1/20 scale. I already know of the valve cover detailing parts from RB Motion. Can anyone direct me toward other parts or photo sources? I have the Wolf WR1 and McLaren M23 that I am looking to detail. Thanks in advance!

Lee

Model Factory Hiro under their E.Jan label make a DFV funnel and distributor
set, part no EJP828. This is perfect for anyone wanting to super detail an area that can be seen and not hidden away after assembly

Hi Lee - hey let me connect you up with Mac from Mac's Modeling "AZRM" he has cast metal valve covers that go with Rob from RB Motions detail bits. Mac has all kinds of things for F-1 modelers. He can also get anything you need or want from Japan such as MFH or Ejan and others. He has a full on shop and also makes detail items and his service is excellent - here's the link to the website - http://www.macsmodeling.com/index.htm - also any others looking for stuff contact Mac - and tell him John from Tucson sent you his way - also Lee I have some pictures of old DFV's - give me a few days to get them out and I will forward them to you - John

Lee,

Check out gurneyflap.com. Has *A LOT* of great ref pics from in car and out of car shots of the DFV. Plus, lots of pics of the cars you are going to do. I highly recommend the RB motion stuff over the MFH, although MFH's accessories are good, RB motion's are better and cheaper. Just my $0.02.

Daniel

I highly recommend smbrm's book! Really great! I used it for my BT44b build. Really good reference...thorough.
