Hi All
I have a used car dealer, with over 80 cars in stock (American, Jerman, and Japanese). I'm looking to buy a scan tool to check engine light, ABS and Air bag.
Any advise will be appreciated.

get one with as many reprogramming, relearn, reflash capabilities as you can, you need to be able to read monitors and command actuators and tell the ecu to test different components...i try to use the manufacturers oem software/scantool... tech2 for gm, drb3 for crystler, techstream for toyota, etc..but thats not always possible

If the module were dead that would explain the lack of communication, but would not explain the function of the ABS light.http://www.smokemaps.com/1.jpghttp://www.smokemaps.com/28.jpghttp://www.smokemaps.com/3.jpghttp://www.smokemaps.com/5.jpg http://www.smokemaps.com/4.jpghttp://www.smokemaps.com/29.jpg abs light being on means the module is disabled or malfunctioning
