I have a 96 SSEi, for the past week the power windows, locks and seat seamed to have a loss of power (not enough power to move them) then last night night they stopped working all together. Any ideas of what this could be and were I should start to look. Thanks in advance.

Not enough power meaning like the battery was/is weak? Any clicks from the motors or dimming of the lights?

no the battery is good, there is no problem with the car starting everything works fine in the car except the windows, locks and seats. funny thing eh!!!!

If they are completely dead start by checking the circuit breaker or fuse involved in that circuit. post back

Or check a schematic and see if they share a common ground...

I believe they do under the l/s front sill plate and carpet, a crimped junction.

Yes all of these items share a common ground... There is a ground distribution under the carpet almost in the area of where your left foot would be... Its a main ground with several grounds running off a bus bar, some of the time we see these corrode and require cleaning... This is the first place I would look, if you haven't looked at the fuses already..

ok sorry it took so long for me to get back, after reading some of the posts, I went to pullup the carpet on the drivers side but i have to wait till i can get the carpet thawed
just as an update though, there is power going to the windows locks and seat also notice a buzzing coming from the electronic level control relay on the passengers side but if i try to open the window or move the seat it stops buzzing, now that said it doesn't buzz all the time about every 10 sec. for about 8 sec.

That does sound like a bad ground for all those circuits, keep going under th ecarpet, frozen means it get wet ,that will corrode that ground junction.
