Cracked Insulator on Ignition Coil A Problem?

Folks,

I have an 1979, 720 pickup with a Z18 engine which has some problems, as defined in previous posts.

I just noticed that the ceramic insulator on top of my ignition coil was cracked. Wondering if this could cause any significant performance issues.
