Greg and John and their frend came over so that i can take out John's A/C. once i got everything out. i went to put it on my car whoo hoo i was happy then i start running into probs.
first of all. i got all the lines (piping) in the engine bay from a 88-89 dx. heres my setup on my car b16a3 with HCP motor mounts. and im using the 94 Delsol A/c Bracket.
First when i tried going to put the bracket in. the Crossmember was in the way by like 1/2 an inch. on the bottom of the bracket.. so i unbolt my crossmember and let it down to put the bracket on . Now i put the 94 delsol A/c Compresser in. it even take more space. Now that the a/c compresser is on the bracket.. I go try to put my crossmember back up . I find out that the compressor is now in the way . i cant put the crossmember back on. the compressor is now sittin lower than the bracket inself.
The other problem i have is that the piping does not run correctly onto the compressor. It seems like i have to bend it alot to get it right. even tho i got one on.. the piping was 1 inch too short..
If anyone who got through this problem.. and know how to fix it please help. Soi have to go get custom piping? and how do i go on gettin the compressor and bracket sit correctly
thanks guys..

old thread but you should use the CRX compressor with your new motor and the Del slow AC bracket, that or get the HCP bracket (only works for sanden compressors tho)

the compressor we pulled out of our friends 88 civic didnt fit the del sol bracket. He ended up getting the Hasport A/C mount.

make sure you change your receiver dryer and vacuum down the system. your A/C will cool faster, be colder, and last longer that way
