I bought a 1999 Pontiac Grand Prix GT in August of this year. When i bought it, it had 184k miles on it. I drive it every day. It is my only car. Pretty much my baby. Now it has 188k miles on it. It has the 3.8L Non supercharged motor. IT NEVER HAS HAD THE TRANNY FILTER OR FLUID CHANGED! Its pretty much a dark brown substance. It has no problems at the moment except for when i tun around coners it whins. If i change the filter and fluid im afraid of it starting to shift hard like these trannys are known for. Will this happen or am i safe at the moment. Im sure im doing great harm to the tranny if i dont change the fluid. Any thoughts about this?

There's no way to know what'll happen WHEN you change the fluid. Like you said, you're not doing the tranny and favors by driving it like it is. Get that crap out of there and some new fluid in it and hope for the best.

Well this doesnt look good for me. Well if i run seafoam in it, when should i run it? Before the fluid and filter change or after? I heard this will clean it up.
