Need Help with Rear Electronic Level Control, Please

I have a 2000 Chevy Venture. It has the rear air shocks and leveling system. It comes in handy when I tow my camper or a utility trailer. It has worked flawlessly for four years, but quit. It no longer engages the compressor. Ever!

I checked the fuses, and they are OK.

If I pull the connector that goes to the compressor relay, there are four wires; two small wires for the coil (controlled by the sensor), and two heavy wires for the contacts (which go to the compressor). The heavy wires have power. But the coil wires (from the sensor) never do. Placing a jumper from the heavy power wire over to the thin coil wire activates the relay and the compressor engages. So that confirms it in my mind that the Sensor (with integrated electronic control) never activates the relay.

I purchased ($$$) and installed a new Sensor, and much to my dismay, the system is still dead.

:crying:

Any ideas?

Do you have the inflator option in the rear also? If so, does the compressor work with that?

Yes, that option is installed. However, in the four+ years I've owned the van, the rear inflator never worked. But the axle sensor/compressor/air shocks did, so I just never relied on the inflator. If I ever needed to inflate something (i.e., air mattress), I just used the cigarette lighter to power a separate, portable inflator. The fact that the built-in rear inflator is still dead doesn't really help us troubleshoot the system. :(

Correction, "Wow, that came awesome!"

THANK YOU! Let me digest that for a few days, and see what I come up with.
