84 S-10 Extended Cab Instrument cluster Issues

I am having a few issues with the Instrument cluster on my 84 S-10.

First problem is simply that none of the lights work, so I can't see the gauges in the dark.

The second problem is that whenever I turn On the Headlights or Blinkers, the Gas Gauge, Oil Gauge and battery gauge will go Haywire until I turn off the Headlights/blinkers. The gas gauge will suddenly plummet down past Empty and off of the board, and the Oil/Battery gauges will just start jumping around back and forth. Once I turn off the blinkers/headlights everything goes back to normal.

Thanks for any helpful input on these issues.

I wuld pull cluster and check plugin and check ground and power feed.
Bad ground usually causes stuff to go crazy.
A bad ground on tail or parking light can caus crazy dash stuff to.
Is your parking light all working good?
On dash lights make sure it is getting power from head light switch to cluster.
If power and ground and plugin good check bone yard for a used cluster.
