Hello,

My 2001 SLS is showing a (Service stability control) alert. From what I gather on the internet, replacing the (steering wheel position sensor) will fix this. Has anyone changed this sensor? What is the procedure for replacing it? Thanks ellis479

The easiest way to replace that sensor is to pull the column. I recomend doing some research before doing so. Don't remove the pin in the new sensor until it is installed correctly on the column.

Shouldn't is be scanned for a proper diagnosis?
