I have accomplished to screw up the threads on the A/C clutch pulley by using the wrong threaded removal tool and cannot get the correctly threaded tool to screw in straight now. Is there any other way to remove the pulley? I need to replace the bearings.
Any and all help is greatly appreciated!
Thank You!!

If this is the 1996 OEM compressor , removal of the clutch assembly for bearing replacement is a difficult task when this old. to many impossible. since the threads are damaged , and even if you did chase these threads to recieve the correct tool for removal of the clutch your chances of success would be very slight.
see if you can find what the thread dia/threads /mm are and try to repair the damage so the tool threads on correctly.
