Law Problem... HELP PLZ!

ok i lost my lisensce awhile back for 6 months i get it back in exactly 20 days, i was driving my car in my neighborhood and my friend was behind me, my friends muffler is really loud and people thought we were racing, so they called the cops, now the neighbors are issuing a warrant or something and i have to go to court and i could lose my lisensce or worse again... im 18 years old, and i dont know what to do or tell them, i told them my friend was helping me learn to drive stick.....plz help me on what to do i really want to drive my brand new 03 civic Si that i've never driven really

there is probally more neighbors then you so yea and they will see you have lost your license once alrdy (for?), but maybe you could get out of it. Ask them why would we be racing a neighborhood?

ya, lost my license for posession while back, everyone telling me to deny it to the end..... but i dunno

you shouldn't be driving on a suspended license. they will fry your balls for that.

yeah my friend was caught driving without a license and they put him in jail, but only for a day and then his parents bailed him oit. funny thing was he didn't even know that he had a suspended license until the cop pulled him over.

I also had my license suspended several years ago, but I was able to lessen the degree from "suspended" to "restricted". The difference is that you are legally allowed to drive your car "to, from and during the course of your employment/school". If you're able to do this, it's pretty easy to claim you're either coming from or on your way to work or school should you get pulled over, just don't get pulled over too far away from home ;) The ability to have your license transferred into a "restricted" mode as opposed to a "suspended" mode might be more tricky since it was already suspended. I'm sure that the laws might be different from state to state in that regard, so please be aware that I'm giving you my scenario from the state of California. Best of luck to you with that!
