2001 Renault Clio - water leak

Water leak - carpets at rear especially are soaken. Water also in front carpets.

Any ideas?

This might sound a bit weird but could it be the sunroof (if you have one) or window seals?

My sunroof had a leak and the carpets ended up soaked. Might be a good place to start.
