04 GT1 ABS/Traction Control light

Has this happened to anyone else

My ABS /Traction control lights come on and stay on until I shut the car off, but does not come back on until it feels like it.....sometime it never comes on....other times it will come on out of no where....

I hope that make sense.....

So say I am driving...all of sudden the ABS/Traction light comes on...(2 seperate warnings lights) ding ding ding.....

..then I stop somewhere and shut the car off and start it right back up ....all warnings are gone....... I start driving again......the light may come back and it may not.....it is so weird...which makes it hard to get a code reading....

If the light was set, there will be a code stored. You probably have a speed sensor harness breaking on one or both of the ft sensors.

This is the answer. Had the same issue. I could actually make the light come on if I messed with the right front wiring. I must have figured out the perfect positioning because the light hasn't come back on for a few weeks.

I probably just jinxed myself though and the light is gonna come on on my way to work tomorrow. LOL

ok thanks....I guess I have to take in for repair
