78 steering

78 vette...i replaced the power steering pump and control valve. Now when i drive the car will turn hard to the right once and a wild and sometimes when i am stopped and car is running the wheels will slowly turn all the way to the right by them self...help.....thank you..

Perhaps there is still air in the lines that need bled out? Sometimes it can take a little while to work it's way to the top.
