I am hoping some one will give me honest feedback , I just added a 5Zigen cat back exhaust and I am noticing low end power loss???
Anyone else experienced this? I have no other mods except for a K&N filter in my stock air box. Thinking of putitng stock exhaust back on.

This is typically normal of aftermarket exhaust systems. I'm guessing you put something on with the piping diamater of 2.5"? You should see more top end power above 4500-5000. This is where you want to be when racing anyway. 2.5" is a bit big though, for a car with little mods. 2.25" is about perfect. If you are planning on doing more engine work, you should be alright.

Why would that little difference in size from 2.5 to 2.25 make so much difference?;)

The same reason people upgrade from 2" to 2.25". That little difference is quite a bit actually. You can move a much higher volume of air through a 2.25" tube compared to a 2" tube. Read up on the dynamics of exhaust.. I know there are plenty of places around AF that have talked about it.

Here's the sticky in "let's get technical.."

Once you get more mods into your engine, you start making more power, 2.5" will be perfect.
