Team Green Reynard Honda, Revell 1/25

The Champcar Series in the mid to end nineties had the best motorsport on 4 wheels in my opinion. Good drivers, nice and fast cars that still allowed overtaking. and the German commentators on Eurosport (including former Porsche man Jantke) were also nice to listen to. It was great until some people thought they had to split...
Revell made a couple of kits, I managed to get the Herta car, but this was not the car with the best paintjob so I bought some decals from indycals to make the Team Green version of 98.
I wanted this to be a fast job in between, but this doesn't work for me when a two tone paintjob is involved... the primer didn't adhere well to the plastic so when I removed the masking tape it had some color on it, too... After painting the nose the 3rd time, I was a bit fed up and as I'm not the type to leave a half finished kit on the bench to be done in the future (ie never) so I finished the job ASAP. It's not my best model, only at the end of adding the decals I also noticed the decals were probably made for the oval version because there were no poison decals for the road course front wing, but anyway... painted with the Zero Jordan green (could maybe made a bit lighter), Zero 1k clear, the seat was done with microballs, nothing more, as I said, I just wanted to finish something fast.
Hope you like it anyway, and if someone wants to sell a Target or Players version of the Kit...

Wow that looks amazing. THis is better than what I would have done, but I would add that I wouldnt even have known it was a model if you had scuffed the tires abit which some sand paper to take that shine off the tread. Great build!
