Hello,
the engine of my 1998 3.1 Lumina is shaking or better idling rough when I stand on e.g. red light. Then it feels like I am on a boat at the sea. It swings. It is normal when I drive. What can this cause?

How long since a tune-up? Any applicable trouble codes? Clean the throttle body and idle air control. There are several issues that can cause rough idle.

Tune up was in January 2011 andall has been cleaned

Maybe a vacuum leak, somewhere? Without something to point us in the right direction, all I can do is hunt and peck.
