Nissan Fairlady Z 300zx (z32)
Body color is supposed to be pearl white, but itīs hard to see on the pictures.
Kit: Tamiya 24087
Body paint: Eureka, Tamiya and ModelMaster acrylics
Other paints: Tamiya and Humbrol clear enamel, Uniball UM100 gel markers
Decals: Tamiya kit and custom printed
Optional parts: Nissan Skyline GT-R r34 stockīs wheels, disc brakes and steering wheel
Scratch pieces: complete 3-point seatbelt, LCD screen, poweramp, 12Ļ speakers, black and white carpets
Project date: July 13th 2011/ October 3rd 2011
Kit review: typical Tamiya kit from 1989, great kit quality/moulding/details, everything fits properly, nice stock stance (lowered anyway), clear hood. Easy to get a good OOB model.
I might be retouching here and there, as I found some flaws, but I consider this project finished anyway.
Sorry for the lots of pics. Iīm not a good photographer so I have to take different angles pics for the paint effects and details to be seen
Thereīs an engine in there, believe me. I just forgot to take pictures :banghead: Iīll try to take some tomorrow.
Thanks for watching. C&C are welcome and expected :licka:

I owe you guys an engine pic. Itīs raining today so I only have this crappy indoor pic. Anyway itīs just an OOB engine, 90% following colors from the manual.

That looks really good overall. The Z32 has always been one of my favorite Z cars.
Your panel lines look especially good.
For suggestions, I think some engine wiring would be a nice touch considering all the changes you made in the interior, but as you probably plan to keep the hood shut to show off that CF it is not a huge deal. Also, IF that entire black panel I can see behind the seats is the amplifier, that is outrageously large compared to the subs. I don't think Rockford Fosgate makes one that big. However, I can't tell if that is actually a support panel and the amp itself just sits in the middle.
Anyway, just some thoughts, take or leave them, but I like it a lot!

@924_CarreraGTS
Thx for your comments!
I might we adding some wires in the future as the whole engine bay looks pretty much empty.
For the poweramp (black panel) I based on the following pic. Mine is about 20 inch, and looks similar size to whatever is on the 1:1 photo  The black rectangle with silver edges in my model is a HiFonics amp. Anyway I didnīt check if they make a 20 inch poweramp. Just thrown in the piece with a cool decal :licka:

Wow, that is a huge amp!! Well in that case you did a nice job replicating it, cool stuff.
Again, good work on the build. The carbon fiber turned out well.

Thanks for all your comments.
The audio setup was a must after seeing the reference picture I posted above. It really fills up an empty space and adds to the tuner look.
